
We have a long association with the Pitlochry theatre as its original
incarnation was housed in a tent here in the Knockendarroch garden.
The Pitlochry Festival Theatre is now a few minutes drive away on the other
side of the river and is regarded as one of the best theatres in Scotland.

🎶 Once (23 May – 27 June) The Tony Award-winning musical comes to
Scotland for the first time, directed by John Tiffany and choreographed
by Steven Hoggett.
💞 Inexperience (13 June – 4 July) A witty, heartfelt romantic comedy
by Douglas Maxwell, directed by Sally Reid,
starring Adura Onashile and Sandy Grierson. Supported by
Aberfeldy Single Malt.
👑 Lear (4 July – 1 August) Maureen
Beattie leads Finn den Hertog’s bold new adaptation of Shakespeare’s
tragedy, with Forbes Masson. Supported by PITLOCHRYhotels.com.
🎭 I Can Die Too (11 July – 2 August) A concert-style play with music
by Frances Ruffelle, Sally George, and Alan
Cumming, directed by Bill Buckhurst.
💌 A History of Paper (8 August – 12 September) Alan
Cumming and Shirley Henderson reunite in this magical Scottish musical
by Oliver Emanuel and Gareth Williams, directed
by Andrew Panton. Co-produced with Dundee Rep Theatre.
🩹 Wiping My Mother’s Arse (15 August – 6 September) A fearless,
darkly comic revival of Iain Heggie’s acclaimed play, directed by Sam
Hardie and featuring Johnny McKnight.
🎹 I’ll Be Seeing You (12 September – 11 October) Written
by Martin Sherman, directed by Alan Cumming, and
starring Simon Russell Beale and Fra Fee in this dazzling world
première.
🕺 Ceilidh (24 September – 17 October) A joyful, immersive new
Scottish musical by Scott Gilmour and Claire
McKenzie (Noisemaker), directed and choreographed by Tony
Award-winner Sam Pinkleton.

🏫 The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (4 – 7 November) Vicky
Featherstone directs Gayle Rankin in David
Harrower’s new adaptation of Muriel Spark’s classic, presented in
partnership with the National Theatre of Scotland and Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh.
🌹 My Fair Lady (21 November – 31 December) Maria
Friedman directs Alan Cumming as Henry Higgins in a glorious new
chamber revival of Lerner and Loewe’s iconic musical.

📚 Winter Words (12–15 February) Our much-loved literary festival
returns, bringing leading writers and performers together for talks, readings, and

Pre-theatre dining & theatre transport
Pre-theatre dining is available, and complimentary transport can be
arranged for residents during the theatre summer season. Our full three-course menu will be served.
Please note: complimentary transport is exclusively available to residents
who book directly with the hotel two weeks prior to the show on a dinner, bed, and breakfast basis when
attending summer productions. If you book last minute, we will try out utmost to arrange transport for you,
however this may not be available.
For transport arrangements for winter performances, kindly contact our
reservations team.
Drinks and canapés will be served in the lounge at 5:00 PM, followed by
dinner at 5:30 PM. Transport will depart at 6:45 PM, with a return journey provided after the performance.
